I have these bedrails already and like them. I wanted a second set for my younger son, but I wanted to match the color I already have. I have the color shown, but the color that came, and the color you find in stores is a light blue. I also wish that the fabric was removable. If you need to wash it, you have to wash it right on the poles. I have never used any other bedrails, so I don't know if you can remove the fabric on other ones. But they are sturdy, my 3 year old uses them to climb up over the side, and they have not bent yet.
Crinkle, crinkle

This is easy to set up and easy to flip down to change sheets. It's sturdy and useful to keep a restless 2-year-old in the bed. I'd give it 5 stars but for the "crinkle, crinkle" factor. The blue fabric crinkles loudly, and even the mesh makes noise when the child kicks up against it, especially with footed pajamas. It's enough to wake up a child who's already tossing and turning.
Great bed rails and very flexible for any bed.

After receiving the bed rails they were a cinch to put together and pretty simple to put on the bed. We have a bunk bed and put these on the bottom and they work great! We had to put a little foam between the metal joints and the wood frame so it didn't dent it, but that hasn't been a problem. I would definitely recommend these!
Broke after year and a half

I've had this bed rail on my son's bed for a year and a half. Within the first 3 months, one of the latches broke, which made the rail a little more flimsy. So, we switched the rail around so that side was against the wall. Next, the pinch-latch under the bed snapped off, allowing the rail to slide out from under the bed. The construction is mostly plastic, with some metal parts, but I don't believe this was sturdy enough for an active 3-year-old. I bought this product after reading MANY reviews online, and was very disappointed with the quality for the price. As for what I'll try next, not sure.
Gets a real test

My 2 year old grandson has given these bedrails a real test -- on the top bunk of my bunk beds. He is very active and loves sleeping on the top bunk when he stays over. Hangs over the rails and puts them to a real test.
